Data Scientist – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Our customer within e-sport is looking for a Data Scientist, you will be joining a fast-growing company, in one of the fastest-growing markets in the world, e-sports. Currently they are work with some of the biggest names in esports & innovative technology.

You will work in close collaboration with amazing colleagues, using new technology and data insights. We work at a fast, but sustainable pace, with the goal to create and innovate a flawless experience for e-sports viewers.

As our clients first data scientist you will play an important role in working to shape our processes, technology, and helping with both the growth and development of our product. You will study user behavior, strategic initiatives, markets, content, new features, and bring data and insights into every decision we make. Your work will impact how we think about our users, and our ability to identify and satisfy our users’ needs.

This is a highly impactful role where you will directly affect how our products are experienced, packaged, and sold around the world.

What you will be doing:

• Designing our end-to-end data pipeline
• Understanding and improving our data collection
• Analyzing our data to extract actionable insights that will help drive our product development decisions
• Work closely with the development team & product team
• Help us to hire new data scientists, as the team grows
• Learning and growing to feed your passion for self-improvement and to help those around you become stronger

Requirements:

• At least four years of professional experience in a similar data analyst role and a degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
• You have the technical competence to perform advanced analytics, with a strong programming background
• Data pipeline experience (ETL, SQL, data warehouses, etc.)
• Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a wish to share what you already know and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology and territory
• You’re a communicative person who values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
• A passion for gaming and e-sports
• A passion for building stunning digital consumer products
• Google Cloud, AWS, NoSQL, Java
