Test Automation Engineer – Payment Services – STÄNGD (Stängd)

The company are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and serve over 20 million customers worldwide.

The main tasks is to develop and perform automated tests as part of an agile team that works with functionality related to Payment within the customers platform.

The role
As a Test automation engineer in the Payment Services team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test suites which ensure the teams’ high-quality deliveries to the customers. We believe you are a passionate tester who always puts quality first.

Task assignments:

• Working closely with Product Owner and team members to collaborate and influence new development
• Interacting with other development teams to assist when needed
• Ensuring quality and performance of all deliveries
• Contribute to the team’s release process
• Maintaining stability and continuously mitigating incidents
• Actively support other team members.
• Sharing knowledge, ideas and best practices.
• Taking responsibility for and managing our internal release flow

Requirements:

• Java
• Test automation
• Experience with agile processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as a strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Passionate about what you do

Meritorious:

• Have worked several years with different automation tools
• Are used to working with scalable and fault tolerant transaction-based systems.
• Always deliver work that meets functional and non-functional requirements, maintainability and quality
• Have experience of working closely with several operational teams and environments simultaneously

Desirable skills:

• Gambling Industry experience or similar
• Version control experience
• Continuous Integration experience
• Understanding of SQL databases
• Familiarity with application containers (SpringBoot, Glassfish etc)We are especially interested in your experience working with Webdriver, Junit and TestNG
