API Architect – STÄNGD (Stängd)

We are looking for an API Architect to join the team responsible for designing and implementing the Group’s API Platform, Developer Portal, and way of working with APIs. The team consists of 4 team members and has many touch points with the rest of the organisation, both from the business and technical side.

As an API Architect, your job will involve

• Taking part in the design and implementation of the technical architecture of the Group’s API platform
• Incollaboration with members from the organisation (productowners, architects, developers, etc.), defining and designing information models as well as APIs
• Developing and building the necessary applications enabling the APIs to run according to the design

 Who we are looking for:

• Deep knowledge in patterns for API architecture & design for server-side APIs
• Good knowledge with regards to API gateways (hands-on as well as theoretically)
• Good knowledge with regards to information modelling
• Good knowledge of developing using Java & Spring Boot
• Good understanding and practical skills with regards to application security
• Nice to haves experience from, but not needed: Red Hat 3Scale, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes, Certificates, OpenAPI 3.0 specifications, GitLab Profile

• Good communication skills, being able to cooperate both with the technical and business teams
• Ability to understand the needs of the business side and to translate these into API -design, technical requirements and implementation steps
• Enjoying hands-on work, taking on development tasks when needed
