Kubernetes developer

What will you do

Team Pipelines mission is to empower our clients engineers with a compliant CI/CD workow to enable delivery of high quality and secure services with a minimal amount of effort. Our clients aim is to provide to their customers tools and functionalities that enable them to deliver value to their customers faster, safer, and compliant. They are looking for a Senior Engineer who has deep knowledge with Kubernetes running in the cloud (currently in AWS EKS) and automation keeping clusters running and updated on the latest version.


Your responsibilities

●  Your rst task will be to drive the improvement of the automation of the kubernetes cluster operation currently in place. The operation should be effortless when we are done.
●  Teach and show us about what is possible with Kubernetes.
●  As an engineer, you will work within a specic problem space critical to the whole organisation where you will design, develop and deploy services with a focus on high availability
●  Leading, inuencing and driving the evolution of the code delivery process to make engineers (our customers) more effective in their daily job.
●  Be part of a team that takes full operational responsibility for the services that it owns, and take part in an on-call rotation
●  Build solutions that enable our customers to deliver value while helping the team evolve best practices
●  Support Engineers and teams solve and debug issues they experience with our products and take that chance to spot and propose opportunities that will help improve our services


What makes you successful

●  Hands-on experience with managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud (AWS, Azure) in an automated way.
●  Hands on experience with maintaining Kubernetes clusters with latest versions with zero impact for hosted services.
●  Hands-on experience with AWS resource optimization from a cost perspective.
●  Experience with CI/CD tools (we are currently using Jenkins )
●  A strong coding ability with core skills in Python, Terraform
●  A passion for writing clean and testable code.
●  Experience with Agile practices (Pairing, TDD)
●  Data driven when making decisions.
●  Collaboration and coordination skills.
