Senior Performance Engineer

Background:

As a performance engineer, you’ll work with people from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about what they do. We believe in releasing small and often, building for change and automating as much as possible.

As a Performance Engineer you work closely with the Development and Operations departments. This makes it possible for us to ensure the quality of our releases and to build a high availability infrastructure. For some development teams the daily work also includes performance testing and tuning of services. We believe in continuously improving the way we work and making it easy for everyone to make their voices heard.

What will you do: 

  • You will use commercial, open source and DIY frameworks and tools
  • Our main focus is on analysis and troubleshooting in order to continuously improve the quality and performance of every release
  • Deploy and configure services for testing
  • Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes
  • Analyze root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions
  • Evaluate and if suitable suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency
  • Proactive mindset in bringing forward potential performance risks

Your experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Performance Testing
  • Hands on experience in analyzing performance testing results and troubleshooting issues
  • Practical experience with monitoring and APM tools
  • Experience using software development tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Git and Jenkins pipelines
  • Experience in defining and maintaining non functional requirements
  • Good communication skillset
  • Experience in working in agile environment
  • Language: English
