Corporate Office Business Delivery Manager

About the role:

The Delivery Manager function has many similarities with a traditional Project Manager role. However, the DM is more hands on and is more of a delivery coordinator than a strategic PM. The Delivery Manager is closer to the stakeholders on the business representative side (security in this case) and dedicated to drive delivery directly related to their area. For this role, the area is Corporate Office and Security.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing Security initiatives (projects and work-packages) from start to end through full lifecycle including initiation, analysis, planning, execution, delivery and closure.
  • Driving Security stream of larger scale portfolio driven projects.
  • Active project team member in larger scale projects to ensure that security areas are not forgotten about.
  • Understand security, business and technology well enough to efficiently bridge between.
  • Risk analyzing and project/resource planning.
  • Communicating efficiently and proactively with stakeholders on all levels.
  • Report on progress to corporate stakeholders to ensure a clear communication and commitment to projects
  • Coordinating with other delivery functions (BD and portfolio, EO) around resource need, dependencies and synergies.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Understanding of Project Management methodology. Preferably from being part of project management teams in the past and from education.
  • Technical background in software development, network/system administration or system operations.
  • Knowledge and strong interest around the Security area.
  • Certifications like CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, GSEC, CompTIA Security+, ISO27001 LI etc are not required but considered a strong merit.
  • Experience in working with Agile particularly Scrum/Kanban.
  • Understanding of how to drive projects where business value is delivered continuously.
  • Use of Jira and Confluence is a nice to have but not essential.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to address representatives at all levels within the company.
  • Agile mind-set and strong focus on quick deliveries
  • Must be very organised, structured, methodical and diligent
  • High energy level and strong desire to deliver
  • Can do personality with a hands-on approach
  • Good analytical skills, with capability of running workshops to develop requirements, user stories etc.
  • Enjoys working in a highly dynamic and international environment
  • Fluent verbal and written English is essential
