Project Manager – Financial Market

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with high integrity, strong analytical skills, and proven ability to lead complex projects within a regulated and international environment. The assignment concerns a strategic initiative of great importance to the financial market, where you will play a key role in ensuring governance, delivery excellence, and stakeholder alignment in a global organization.


Assignment / Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing, driving, and monitoring a strategic and multi-faceted project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Planning and securing the execution of project activities, including delegation, coordination, and reporting.
  • Ensuring that the project meets requirements for quality, budget, timelines, risk management, and communication.
  • Establishing proper project planning and governance, including scope definition, reporting, and communication with senior management and regulators.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business strategy and goals.
  • Ensuring adherence to the European Market Services (EMS) project management framework.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, in roles related to project management, audit of financial/technical systems, or consultancy.
  • Experience from global organizations in regulated industries.
  • Proven background in complex decision-making, risk assessments, large organizations, and technical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including awareness of industry trends.
  • Experience in interacting with Steering Committees, senior management, external clients, industry associations, and regulators.
  • Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.

Meriting / Nice to have

  • Experience in change management and implementing new processes and practices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate culturally and geographically diverse teams.
