Project Manager Senior Specialist – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Plans, monitors and manages projects from initiation through to completion. Utilizes resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.

Position responsibilities: 

  1. Manages, plans, monitors and administers a large project independently to ensure client/internal customer satisfaction.
  2. Utilizes and manages resources and coordinates effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
  3. Ensures the project plan obligations are met regarding specifications, quality, costs, timeframes, etc.
  4. Manages IT projects such as systems integration, systems architecture, new product development or custom systems development, utilizing established Project Management methodologies.
  5. Delivers project management responsibilities within a matrix environment.
  6. Delivers and completes simultaneous projects of varying complexity according to standards, meeting or exceeding expectations
  7. Manages projects for multi-faceted delivery

Core Skills & Requirement:

Education required:
Degree qualified in Business/Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Experience Required:
8 to 10 years Certifications:
Formal Project Management certification.

Functional knowledge:
Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline. Understands how related disciplines impact own work/own team. Readily applies functional knowledge to challenges in our industry/markets.

Business expertise:
Has good or in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others and chooses to work across these boundaries to further the greater agenda. Is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market. Understands the commercial or business decision takes priority over the preferences of the individual.

Leadership: Acts as mentor/coach for less experienced peers. Is looking always to gain efficiencies and implements these within own team/discipline. May step up to lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Plans and prioritizes work using resources in the best possible way to complete tasks on time and with high quality.

Problem solving: Solves complex problems with little or no support from their supervisor; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
