Project Solution Architect – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Assignment description

As the Solutions Architect in this project you will act as the tech lead, responsible for overall Architecture including Estimates, Technical design, Product decisions, Infrastructure design, Sizing, Non functional requirements (Security, Auditability, Archiving, Maintainability, Support, Resilience, Availability) as well as requirements capture, and technical project management Excellent communication and documentation skills are a must. This project has many stakeholders including top management, you are responsible to present the solution to stakeholders to give the them confidence in the solution and get their buy in’s. You must also hold as the ‘business value conscience’ to ensure that never mind what functional designs come up with, what is being delivered must be ‘business valuable’ not just an application

Required Skill-set

• Relevant education with a degree in engineering or comparable skills
• Experience as Solution architect or comparable positions
• Ability to drive architecture and design decisions, as well as creating conceptual data models
• Experience in working with SQL, databases, and some or all of the following technologies; Spark, Hadoop, AWS EMR, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, Postgres, Python, Scala
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
• A burning curiosity and interest in data, fast data, big data, data governance, data models, data warehouse, data insights – or all of the above!
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with business leaders and understanding of domains outside of engineering
• Experience in a wide range of organisations, from startups to large enterprise businesses
