System Operations Senior Specialist – STÄNGD (Stängd)

Our partner company is seeking two Systems Operations Engineers to help us manage and operate modern technologies. As we expand our capabilities and products, these roles are critical to achieving our goals.

Our partner is a globally recognized leader in financial technology, trading, and information services, serving businesses and investors from over 50 offices in 26 countries across six continents, in every capital market.

In this role, you will operate our state-of-the-art trading platform, handling incoming issues, resolving incidents, and launching new versions. You will also conduct performance testing and implement recovery procedures for various releases. Additionally, you will participate in numerous exciting projects, enhancing and introducing new improvements and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all application-related activities, including managing incoming issues, incident resolution, requirements gathering, and launching new releases.
• Design, plan, and implement changes to our existing systems and deploy new solutions.
• Plan and execute non-functional and performance testing.
• Act as a specialist in operational issues, addressing questions and requirements.
• Participate in projects related to current and new customers.
• Maintain operational documentation needed for second-line operation.
• Manage projects and independently execute tasks in large implementation projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix (mandatory).
• Experience in DevOps, System Administration, Network, Application Operations, or related areas.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.) and databases (SQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Containerization (Docker), and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes) is beneficial.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Strong personal drive and initiative, enjoying work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, client-focused environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively with a strong work ethic in a mission-critical 24×7 diverse environment.
