Data Warehouse & BI Engineer

We provide data about different teams in the Global Online Experience (GOX). This position is to work in the team of the “GOX Data Platform”. We provide data engineering, data modeling and data warehousing capabilities.

Experience – 7 years or more of Industry Experience and 4 years or more relevant
experience
oSound knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data ware housing end to end
architecture.
oStrong knowledge on RDBMS concepts
oProactively recommended KP!’s for end users and performed POC/DEMO
oGood understanding on multiple business domains like
R&D/finance/Sales/Commercial/Supply chain/service management and
involved in delivering multiple KPI’s for these areas.
oAbility to understand Data modeling techniques using Data mart or
Dimensional modeling.
oAbility to interact with end users and translate business needs to technical
specifications
o Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
oDesign, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g., reporting tools)
oWork closely with the various teams to consume new data sources, refine
existing data source, and build out data visualizations and self-service data
access capabilities.

Primary Technology Skills (Must -have)
oBI Reporting: Power BI (mandatory), QlikView/ Qliksense/SSRS/Tableau
oDatabase: Oracle/MS SQL Server/Teradata/MySQL/Snowflake etc.
oStrong experience in SQL programming and debugging skills
oAbility to design and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
oHands on with Tabular Model creation
oProficient in writing DAX queries
oHands on knowledge in any ETL tools like
ADF/Wherescape/Matillion/Informatica etc
oMinimal knowledge in Python and able to integrate with Power BI
o Skilled in data visualization through various power bi report components

Secondary Technology Skills
oWorking Knowledge in Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP
oBig Data experience in Spark SQL, Scala, PySpark
oGood understanding on Data governance and master data management
oConducted PowerBI trainings for end users to enable self service
